Verline Parrish, 92, of Nederland passed away Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the Senior Rehabilitation Center in Port Arthur. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2005 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves under the direction of Broussard's in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 PM Sunday evening at the mortuary. Mrs. Parrish was a native of Roganville, Texas, and lived in the Mid-County area for 20 years. She retired as a bookkeeper and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nederland. She is survived by one sister, Doris Dickerson of Groves, and one brother, Kenneth Sheffield and his wife E'lane of Nederland.
