He was born January 15, 1962 in Morgantown, a son of Geraldine Wolfe Gamble of Westover and the late Robert Elias Gamble.
He is survived by his wife Marsha Michelle Hess Gamble; his children, Crystal, Bryan, Amy and Lena; his grandchildren, Sierah, Mikey, Zoey, Katie, Angel, Ashton, Kaden, Dylon, Alec, Aaliyah , Kaelyn and Lloyd; a sister, Rebecca Gamble; a brother, Richard Gamble; a niece, Chelsa Gamble, several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend, Anna Abrams.
Robbie was a 1981 graduate of University High School/ He was employed in Maintenance by the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, and PACE Tech.
Growing up, he was active in Boy Scouts and 4-H, and was very actively involved with Scott's Run Settlement House.
Mr. Gamble loved working with crafts, painting and crocheting. Also, he enjoyed listening to Country, Christian and Christmas Music. He was a member of the Reynoldsville Baptist Church.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Tuesday, February 18th from 1-3 and 5-8 PM and again on Wednesday, February 19th from 11:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 PM with Pastor Jon Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery, Pentress.
