Services were held last Saturday for Burkett J. Sublett, 93, of Ingram, who passed away Aug. 21 at the Kerrville V.A. Medical Center. The Kerrville Masonic Lodge was in charge of graveside services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. A life-time resident of Kerr County, he was born November 21, 1892 in Hunt. His wife, Effie, preceded him in death in 1975. He formerly owned the O.S.T. Garage in Ingram, retiring in 1955. He was a member of the Baptist faith and a member of Ranger Lodge #738, A.F. &A.M. He was also a veteran of World War I, serving in the medical corps. He is survived by a brother, Herman Sublett, of Hunt. Kerrville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
