MAY BURTON, 81, DIES AT HIS HOME ON ALLEN STREET
May Burton, 81, died at 12:20 o'clock this morning at his home, 501 Allen street.
Mr. Burton was born west of Cairo and lied most of his life in Randolph County, where he was a farmer. He had resided in Moberly since 1939 and was a member of the Church of God (Holiness).
Surviving are his wife; a sister, Mrs. mamie Gipson of Ames, Iowa; a brother, Joe Burton of Woodward, Iowa; a step-son Bernard Rafferty of Higbee and several nieces and nephews, including Gilbert O'Connell of Moberly.
The body is at the cater Funeral Home. Services will be announced later.
