Mildred F. Griffiths was born August 13, 1895 in Murphysboro to William O. and Anna Bell Connely Taylor. Her surviving siblings were Edith Chrisie of Detroit, MI and Hazel Adkins of Tucson, AZ.
She married William J. Griffiths on December 25, 1915 in Murphysboro. She left one daughter, Betty Ann Stojack of Las Vegas.
Mrs. Griffiths died at the age of 80 on Tuesday, December 2, 1975 after a long illness. Her graveside service was held at Tower Grove Cemetery. Rev. Bryan Nelson officiated. Services and burial were also held for Mr. Griffiths ashes at that time. He died February 28, 1971. Crawshaw Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
