She married James L. Emery on July 28, 1945 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1988.
Surviving family includes sons, Dennis Emery, of Lexington, S.C., Randall (Sharon) Emery, of Frankfort, and Anthony Emery, of Indian Springs, Nev.; daughters, Kathy (Jerry) Sharp Fisher, of Colera, Okla., and Jeanne (David) Blackburn, of Frankfort; son-in-law, Roger Marshall, of Lafayette; daughter-in-law, Diane Emery, of Frankfort; brother, Larry (Bonnie) Clinton, of Frankfort; sisters, Betty Gearhart, of Frankfort, and Doris (Jerry) Curts, of Camden; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, two daughters, Cynthia Sue Emery and Carol Marshall and a son, James Emery.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
