Anna C. Butler, 89, Neosho, died Feb. 11, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Anderson, following a lengthy illness.

Anna was born Dec. 29, 1924 in VanBuren, AR, the daughter of William and Ellen (Donelson) Moore.

Anna was a lifelong resident of McDonald and Newton Counties and was a cosmetologist over 50 years, working at several local beauty shops and as an instructor at the Neosho Beauty College. Ann was an avid bowler, a former Cub Scout Den Mother; she loved to knit and can and was of the Baptist Faith.

Ann is survived by four children, Joe Butler and wife, Cheryl, Neosho; Donald R. Butler and wife, Kathy, Jacksonville, NC; Michael Butler and wife, Edna and Mark Butler and wife, Sheila all of Neosho; two sisters, Nellie Collins, state of OK and Dena Hoffmann, San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton on June 16, 1985; a son, Jim Butler, her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
