-The Los Angeles Times, 18 Jul 1938, Pg 12:
"Heineman, Harry Howard Heineman, lumberman, Merrill, Wis., aged 58 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund Heinman, husband of Grace Heineman and father of Eleanor Heineman Goldsmith, passed away July 17 at 2:15 a.m. Burial in the Merrill Cemetery July 19 at 2:30 p.m."

"Harry Howard Heineman, 58, president of the Heineman Lumber company of Merrill, died yesterday morning at about 2 o'clock at Holy Cross hospital in Merrill, which he entered Thursday. He had been ill since last winter, when he visited the Pacific coast.

The deceased was born March 20, 1880, in Appleton and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund Heineman, moved to Merrill in 1881. He was married February 2, 1910, in Wausau to Miss Grace Livingston, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Livingston. He had succeeded his father as president of the lumber company and of the Citizens' National bank in Merrill, serving in the latter capacity until in 1933 when the bank was reorganized. He assisted in the organization of the Page Milk company and was an officer of the Lincoln Canning company at Merrill.

He had been an active member of the Merrill Golf club and was active in many public activities in that city. He was also a member of the Elks lodge. Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. J. Edison Goldsmith, Los Angeles, Cal.; a brother, Edgar E. Heineman, Ishpeming, MIch., and two sisters, Mrs. Ralph D. Hetzel, State College, Pa., and Mrs. Arthur Hoffheimer, Chicago. He was a cousin of Harry N. and Sol Heinemann, Wausau.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence in Merrill, Dr. Samuel Hirshberg, Milwaukee, will officiate. Interment will be in the Merrill cemetery."
