Don Kasey, 61, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. He was born September 3, 1952 to the late Thomas and Alice McIntyre Kasey. He retired from Kentron and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed CB radios, working on automobiles and playing with his dogs.
Surviving is his wife, Helen Kelley Kasey, a daughter, Sabrina Kasey of Owensboro, two sons, Donald (Penny) Kasey, II of Owensboro, Chris (Renee) Kasey of Owensboro, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister, Kathy Clark of Owensboro and two brothers, Ronald Kasey and Jerry Kasey, both of Owensboro.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
The family expressly requests that there be no flowers but may make donations in Mr. Kasey's honor to the Owensboro Humane Society, 3101 W Second Street, Owensboro, KY 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
