Paul F. Beermann, 87,of Concordia, MO, died Tuesday, February11, 2014 at The Lutheran Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma with Pastor Jacob Mueller officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Gateway for Cancer Research, or The Lutheran Nursing Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis .com

Born January 17, 1927, on the Beermann farm in Lafayette County, he was the son of the latte Emil H. Beermann and Stella Haesemeyer Beermann. On May 14, 1950 he married Eunice Fischer, who survives of the home, and this union was blessed with three daughters. In 1952 he was inducted into the United States Army where he served nearly two years overseas. He was discharged on January 6, 1954 into the Army Reserve and was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. Paul farmed with his father on the family farm, and later on his own, as well as raising Polled Hereford cattle. He was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Emma where he served in many different offices.

In addition to his wife, Eunice; he is survived by three daughters: Kathleen Powers of Concordia, Barbara Beermann of Jefferson City, and Deborah Eckhoff and husband Don Clardy of Overland Park, KS; four grandchildren; Jeremy Powers and wife Christina of Concordia, Monica Powers of Columbia, Erin Crumrine and husband Dan of Chicago, IL, and Jami Eckhoff of Austin, TX; six great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Beermann, and two sisters, Laverna Bockelman and Helen Stuenkel.
