        Funeral Service Will be Held Mon-
              day Afternoon from St.
                   Francis Church.

      George Keough died Friday night at 8 o'clock at his home. He was stricken the day before, as was stated, with a stroke of apoplexy and from this he never revived.
      Mr. Keough was in his forty-eighth year and had been a resident of this county for a long time, having settled here back in the eighties. He lived in the city of Brainerd for years and served as a member of the city council. He had always been more or less interested in politics in the county and was very well known here.
      Mr. George Keough, was buried Monday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Francis church, the funeral leaving his home at Oak Lawn at 9 a. m. Mr. Keough was born at Syracuse, N. Y., in 1853 and was 48 years old. He came to Brainerd about eighteen years ago and was for years proprietor of the old Central Hotel, moving to Oak Lawn about five years ago where he possessed a beautiful farm. At the time of his death he was one of the town officers of Oak Lawn and also a member of the school board. He carried insurance in both the A. O. H. and C. M. B. A. societies. He was a man who was always kind and unassuming to all, and very popular. He leaves a wife and eight small children to mourn his loss, who have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
