Mary was the daughter of Peter J. and Catherine (Niezer) Eggeman. She was born at home and had 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She married Floyd Edward McEntaffer on Saturday, Oct. 15, 1910. They had 1 son and 3 daughters. She and Floyd lived at 316 East Woodland Avenue and later at 316 West Suttenfield.
She died Oct. 30, 1970 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne and was buried at the Catholic Cemetery on Lake Ave. in Fort Wayne. To her great-grandchildren she will always be their "Nanny Mac".
