Dr. Bradley Monroe Witt was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Bradley was the son of Thelma Henderson Witt and Dr. James Estes Witt.

He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1945 where he served as Captain of the Mount Pleasant Tigers football team.

He then attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas and graduated from Baylor Dental School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a Captain in the Dental Corp at Okinawa during the Korean War.

Dr. Witt joined his dad in his dental practice in Mount Pleasant and practiced until his retirement. He was recognized by the Texas Dental Association for practicing dentistry 50 years.

He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant for 75 years where he served as a deacon, a Sunday School teacher and in later years was a faithful member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was twice recognized by the Rotary Club as a Paul Harris Fellow, was a member of the American Legion, and was a Gideon.
