Joe was united in marriage to his wife, Barbara, and she preceded him in death on February 24, 2008.
Joe was a simple man who would always go out of his way to help others. He loved to fish and hunt and had a nickname in his younger years as "Jolly Joe." His whole life was spent, in some aspect, around farming. He will be dearly missed.
Joe is survived by his two sons: John (Karrie) Nemec and Mark Nemec;
three grandchildren: John (Kelly), Tina Babino, and Tanya (Tom) Wilson;
12 great grandchildren;
and a sister, Maggie (Mel) Pagenkopf.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Barbara;
brother Frank; and a sister Mary Ann Clow.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. on Thursday February 13, 2014, at Messar-Roubal Funeral Home. Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will be in the Amberg Cemetery.
