Thomas H. Beere, 52, Altoona, died Sunday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Herbert and Leona (Phillips) Beere. He was married to the late Paulette S. Frye. Surviving are three sons: Thomas H. II, Herbert J. and Elmer C.; five grandchildren; and nine siblings: Barbra Baker, MaryJane Rhoades, Leroy, James, Lloyd, Herbert, Richard, William and Kenneth. Friends will be received from noon until the 1:30 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, the Rev. Ted Corcelius officiating. Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home.
