Wife of John Allen Croasdill, married September 29, 1956, at Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church in Seattle Washington, he preceded her in death May 18, 2011.
They lived all their married life in Bellevue, Washington where they raised five beautiful children.
Sheila Rae was raised on a farm in rural Parsons, Kansas along with her four sisters. She went through 8th grade in a one room school, then graduated in 1955 from Labette County High School in Altamont, Kansas. She went to IBM school in Omaha, Nebraska and from there moved to the Pacific Northwest to live with extended family. She was employed by Boeing in Seattle, Washington where she met her beloved husband John. They had over 54 years of marriage.
She was an active member of the Bellevue community having joined numerous organizations over the years including a bowling league, softball league, Laidies Golf Club, bridge club and Mah Jongg group. She was very involved with her faith in her beloved St. Louise Catholic Church where she and her husband were Charter Members.
Sheila Rae had a beautiful generous spirit and engaging personality making her easily approachable to friends and strangers alike. She will be dearly missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Jean Westhoff Temple Dernovish, a grandson Nicholas Chester.
