Rozelle Geraldine (Streetman) Downey was born December 5, 1921 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Jerome Fletcher (Dick) and Mary Ellen (Holland) Streetman and passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Wesley-Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Geraldine was raised in the Sunset School District, Northeast of Hominy. She attended Sunset School for 8 years and attended Mound Valley High School for 4 years, graduating in May 1939. In July 1939 she was united in marriage to Harold O. Downey, Sr., whom she met at Mound Valley. They were married 57 years and 3 months before Harold passed away October 3, 1996.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Harold and daughter- Phyllis R. Pillars.

Funeral Services were Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bud Tibbles officiating. Music selections were "One Day at A Time" and congregational hymns
"How Great Thou Art" and "Precious Memories". Casket bearers were Sean Browning, Troy Browning, Jessy Spence, R.D. Spence, John Bolt and Dustin Potts.

Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy.
