LouAnn Clarissa Kilpatrick, 66, Spider Lake, died Monday, June 30, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born July 30, 1936, at Fairmont, Minn., to Reuel and Clara (Selsvold) Ebert. She grew up and attended schools in Truman and later attended St. Olaf College and finished her medical technician training in Minneapolis. She worked in Bemidji before moving to Grand Rapids in 1958. On Oct. 10, 1959, she was united in marriage to Robert Gene Kilpatrick in Grand Rapids. She was a homemaker and loved crafts, family pets, gardening and the outdoors. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and the church Altar Guild. She was a member of the Wabana Women's Club and secretary of the Spider Lake Association and was a former den mother for the Wabana Cub Scouts.

She is survived by a daughter, Kelly (Dave) Schuder, Wyoming; two sons, John (Cathy) Kilpatrick, Grand Rapids; and Timothy (Geraldene) Kilpatrick, Bovey; one brother, Arlen (Doreen) Ebert, Truman; brother-in-law David Lee Ewen, Grand Rapids; sister-in-law Lorelee Kilpatrick, Denver, Colo.; and five grandchildren, Katie and Emily Kilpatrick, Jenna and Carlene Schuder; and Rebecca Bruce.

Preceding her in death were her husband Robert in 1994, and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Services: Saturday, July 5 at 11 a.m. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, with the Revs. Daniel Domke and Michael Eckert officiating.

Burial: Wabana Cemetery, Wabana Township.
