A. Frank Hartness Jr., the ten months old son of Assistant Chief of Police A.F. Hartness and Mrs. Hartness, died Monday morning at 3:30 o'clock at the home of his parents of First Avenue. Death resulted from pneumonia after a brief illness.
The little boy is survived by his parents and a small sister.
The funeral service was conducted from the residence this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment was in Oakwood cemetery.
