Hendrick Suydam married Grace Denny at Trinity Parish Church in Seattle on Nov 4 1908. He was 22, b. in Newark, NJ to Henry Suydam and Anna Ward, and worked in real estate. She was 21, born in Seattle to Arthur W Denny and Catharine Orr. Her sister Helen Denny was maid of honor. After the wedding, the couple left for New York, and will sail to Europe “where they will occupy a villa near Paris for the winter.”
The Seattle Times reported she died in San Francisco, where she had lived in recent years, after spending most of her lift in New York. She was survived by daughters Mrs Patricia MKay and Mrs Katrinka Mount, both of San Francisco. Her grandparents were Arthur A and Mary Ann A(Boren) Denny, who helped establish the University of Washington.
