I visited John Kelley's home several times when growing up. My cousins, Ron, Randy, Rod and Rick Kelley and I were close and so we visited their grandparents as well.
According to John Kelley's Death Certificate, he died of an automobile accident on Highway 36.
John and Frances had 3 chldren:
Clifford E. Kelley born 3 Aug 1919 in Missouri and died 25 Dec. 1997 Missouri.
Lois Kelley born 1922 in Kansas she married one of the Willis Brothers who played with Red Foley years ago.
Clair Auburn Kelley was my uncle. He was born 16 Oct 1923 Hillrose, , Colorado. He married Claire Newlan 12 Jul 1945 in Olathe, Johnson, Kansas. He passed away 16 Apr 1999 in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas.
I mistakenly put a middle initial for John Kelley. His grandson, Randall Kelley pointed out this error. Thank you to him.
