Mr. Tallie Coy Hancock, 82, of the West Berrien community, died December 31, 2010 at the Berrien Nursing Center. Funeral services were held at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Hancock was born on September 7, 1928 in Berrien County. He was the son of Coy Hancock and Rosa Baldree, both decreased. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mallie Hancock and two sisters, Mildred Griner and Melba Wilson. Mr. Hancock was a retired farmer, a school bus driver for more than 20 years and a life member of the Berrien County Farm Bureau, having served as president for ine years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member and deacon of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Hancock of West Berrien; one daughter; one son; and five grandsons.
