Obituary from the Logan Banner Logan WV
Emma was also employed at Guyan Valley Hospital were she worked in the Newborn Nursery. She loved the babies. She lived in Logan for many years with the Hattie Hickman who was the Rev. at the church Emma attended. Both women were very religious. Both women had to be rescued from their house in the 1957 Flood in Cherry Tree, Logan WV. Was loved by many she worked with that now are gone. She still is remembered through those who shared stories of her and her kindness. Some still survive who still recall her and smile as they reminisce of days gone by.
