David was the fourth of seven children, and is survived by his beloved family, Francis J. Wargo and his daughter, Chrissy (Paul) Deatrick, and their son, Joe; Dr. Thomas P. (Tracey) Wargo and their children, Jacob and Rylie; Rosemary C. Serra (Bill Davis) and her son, Tony; Margaret M. (Timothy) Viancourt and their children, Katie and Timmy; Kathryn M. (Mario) Cancelliere and their children, Kristin (Anthony) Diak and their daughter Mary Dagmar, Julie (Andrew) Sedlovsky, and Joey; and John J. Wargo and his children, John, Elizabeth, Emily and Joshua.
David was predeceased by his father in 1993 and his mother in 2003, and by his much-loved aunt, Karin Oberg, in 1989.
David graduated as Salutatorian from Southern Local High School, and went on to earn his degree in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University. As an independent consultant and contractor, David was highly respected in his field for his representation.
As a lifetime resident of Summitville, David cultivated his love of nature and his land through his tree farm, which was recognized by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
The legacy that David leaves is represented by the life he lived. A man of deep faith, his religion was exemplified daily by how he treated people. He addressed the needs of his neighbors and community, and was always ready to lend a hand and help. For his family, he lived the life of a loving son, brother, uncle, and godfather. he loved his family, and his family dearly loved him. A steady, hardworking, dependable, exceptionally good and decent man, he will be missed by so many. May he now rest.
