He was the husband of Antonetta (Mansolillo) Capizano. Born in Bristol, a son of the late John and Anna (Caputo) Capizano, he had lived in Johnston before moving to North Providence two years ago. Mr. Capizano owned and operated Gem Plating Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1998.
He was a Navy veteran of World war II.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Louis J. Capizano of Johnston; a brother, Edward Capizano of Cranston; and a sister, Ann Attanasio of North Providence. He was the brother of the late Mary Matheson, Santa Guerra, Theresa Greico and Charles, Joseph and Frank Capizano.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Lawrence Church, Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
