George Washington Cowgill died of heard diesase and dropsy July 4, at Albion, aged 68 years. He had been a resident of Iowa township and an active worker for the interests of Albion since 1856. The funeral services were held Saturday and were in charge of the Masons, Rev. Dr. Ward of this city preaching the funeral sermon.
