Dr. Herbig Dies at 91
Dr. William J. Herbig, 91, of Town Isle Road, Kirkville, a former dentist in Utica for 45 years, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Grygiel whose husband operates the Town Isle Golf Course.
A native of Utica, Dr. Herbig practiced there, moving to Kirkville following his retirement.
He was a graduate of the University of Buffalo College of Dentistry, class of 1902.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Grygiel and Mrs. Noble Dilker of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Russell H. Schepp Funeral Home, Minoa, the Rev. Henry T. McKnight officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
