Edward J. Novak, 48, of 232 Washington Road, Penns Neck, died yesterday in Princeton Hospital. Born in Trenton, he lived 24 years in the Princeton area and formerly operated a coffee shop at the Penns Neck traffic circle. He had served in the Merchant Marine.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Harriet Ploski Novak; a son, Ronald E.; his mother Mrs. Frances Novak, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Cincilla and Mrs. Edward Durkalski, all of Trenton.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 365 Brunswick Avenue. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 10 in St. Paul's Church, Princeton and interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon and evening.
