Calvin "Cowboy" Flowers, age 78, of Stockbridge, GA died Thursday, February 6, 2014. He was born in Bessemer, NC to the late Gilbert H. and Mae Scruggs Flowers.

He was from North Carolina and always considered that Heaven. Calvin was associated with Flippen United Methodist Church. He was an avid antique car collector and a member of the Early Ford Club. He worked in construction over 40 years, and he was the owner of Flowers Acoustics.

Calvin is survived by his wife of 47 years: Shirley Flowers, Stockbridge, GA; children: Nancy (Steve) Wallace, McDonough, GA; Debbie (Clint) Adams, Stockbridge, GA; Kathy (Steve) Tomberlin, Kings Mountain, NC; Richard Calvin Flowers, Gaston, NC; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ambrose Flowers, Grier (Betty) Flowers, Bill (Virginia) Flowers, Harry (Peggy) Flowers, and Lillie Justice.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Flippen United Methodist Church.
