Jack Arnott, 75, Syracuse Lake resident, died Friday, February 7, 2014, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born in Nappanee, IN to Ralph L. and Vera (Sloat) Arnott on November 11, 1938. He graduated from Nappanee High School in 1956 and Ball State Teachers College in 1960 (presently Ball State University).

He is survived by his wife, Kenlyn (Calbeck) Arnott; son Gregory (Kim) Arnott, Fishers, IN; granddaughter Kelly (Mike) Drew, grandson Michael Arnott; granddaughter Megan Arnott; son Rick (Becky) Arnott, Fishers, IN; granddaughter Madeline Arnott; grandson Michael Shew and great-grandson Mason Drew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Vera Arnott, a brother Philip Arnott, a daughter-in-law Joanna (Wittman) Arnott and grandson Colin Arnott.

He spent every summer at Syracuse Lake in the cottage his father built in 1941. He had many wonderful memories of life at the lake and his many friends there. Jack retired in 2006 as property manager of Leisure Living in Milford.

He has been cremated and there will be a visitation from 2:00pm to 5:00 pm, on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
