Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Turner, age 45, of Manchester will be conducted Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11 AM at the graveside at Shady Grove Cemetery with Bro. Joe King officiating. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 5 – 9 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Turner passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Medical Center of Manchester. He was born on February 8, 1966 in Crossville, Tennessee. Mr. Turner was self-employed and worked in the nursery industry. He enjoyed fishing, being with his family and driving his 4 wheel drive truck.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his father James Michael Turner, a brother-in-law, Sammy Wilson and one granddaughter Mylie Beth Cantrell.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Eades Turner of Manchester; his mother, Ruthie Aileen Wiggins Turner Eldrige and husband Carl, of Morrison, TN.; one son, Britton Cantrell and his wife Danessa of McMinnville, TN.; two brothers, Charles Ray Turner of McMinnville, TN. and Michael Glenn Turner of Morrison, TN.; three sisters, Glenda Kay Wilson of Viola, TN., Rebecca "Fonda" Turner of Morrison, TN., and Elizabeth Ginger Bunch and her husband Jimmy Bunch of McMinnville, TN; and 2 grandchildren Jadelynn and Drystan Cantrell.
