Mr. Robert L. Burnham of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born on November 21, 1930 in Graves County, Kentucky.

Robert married Nada Gray on December 31, 1949 and was widowed on April 16, 2011. Robert spent most of his adult life in Bucks County, PA before moving to Charlotte in 1991.

Mr. Burnham attended Detroit City High School and took classes at Rutgers Business School. He worked in manufacturing management and spent most of his career as a division manager at Circle F Corporation. During his lifetime he explored a variety of interests ranging from bowling to photography. He enjoyed time as a HAM radio operator, cultivated a half-acre garden and earned a pilot's license. Mr. Burnham was also an avid genealogist and loved learning about his family history. During his retirement years he and his wife enjoyed frequent "road trips" often accompanied by one of their grandchildren.

Mr. Burnham was preceded in death by his wife, Nada, his parents Thomas Albert Burnham and Thelma Wilson Burnham, and his only son, Larry D. Burnham. He is survived by his three grandchildren: Brian, Craig and wife Meghan and Lauren, and his daughter-in-law, Diane Burnham.

Graveside services will be held at Pilot Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Pilot Oak, KY on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m
