Margrett R. Ranco, 79, of Albany NH, died November 9, 1999, at The Memorial Hospital in North Conway NH following a sudden illness. She was born in Conway NH, the daughter of Erick and Myrtle Harriman Nolan, and was a lifelong resident of the Mount Washington Valley.

Mrs. Ranco was a graduate of Kennett High School and a member of the Kennett Keys. She worked at the former Frankson's in West Ossipee NH during World War II, and later worked at John F. Chick and Son in Silver Lake NH as a bookkeeper. She had also been a bookkeeper at the former General Distributors in Conway and at the former Carroll Reed's in North Conway and Conway. Mrs. Ranco had been a member of the North Conway Community Choir.

Her family includes her husband of 18 years, Frederick W. Ranco of Albany; step-daughters Lorraine and Eva of Maine; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; foster sister Mary Leavitt of Albany NH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
