Jane Anderson, age 68, of Linneus died Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at University of Kansas Medical Cemter in Kansas City, Kansas.

A funeral service will be Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Linneus Baptist Church. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will begin at 1:00p.m. Friday at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield, and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm in the evening.

Memorials to the Jane Annderson Memorial Scholarship Fund or Pulmonary Hypertension Association may be left at or mailed to Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, PO Box 496, Brookfield, Mo 64628.

Jane Ann, daughter of Porter and Eunice (Maggart) Sayre, was born December 26, 1945 in Kirksville. On June 27, 1965, she married Johnny Anderson.

Jane was a 1962 graduate of Liberty High School in Browning, and graduated from Kirksville Teacher's College in Kirksville with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in education. She was an elementary school teacher for three years at Brookfield R III and retired after teaching 34 years at the Linn County RI Elemantary School. She was a member of the Linneus Baptist Church.

Survivors include five children, Jena Cupp and Jonna Weydert and husband Jason, Jada Belew and Jerrol Anderson, and Joel Anderson and wife Kelsey; 13 grandchildren, Austin, Ashlyn. Anthony, and Andrew Cupp, Jaclyn, Julia, and Jordon Weydert, Braden and Kenna Belew, Chase, Abigail, Max and Neva Anderson; her mother, Eunice Sayre, sister, Jean Miller and husband, Jerry, one brother, Bill Sayre, and wife C.J. , a sister in law, Carol Sayre and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Her father, Porter Sayre, one brother, Donald Sayre, a sister in law, Conda Sayre, father and mother in law, Raymond and Neva Anderson.
