Mrs. W.J. Grayson died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Will Kilpatrick, July 25th at four o'clock a.m. Interment was made at the Old City Cemetery, Rev. J. Coy Williams officiating.
Mrs. Grayson, formerly Miss Emma Vance, was born July 18th, 1831 in Mississippi and was married in Alabama on February 4th, 1852 to Mr. William James Grayson. Four children were born but none survive.
Mrs. Grayson has been a Christian for over fifty years, a member of the Methodist Church. For thirty two years she has made her home in Rockdale.
She leaves many friends to mourn her loss and the Reporter joins wth these friends in extendin sympathy to the bereaved.
