Prairie du Chien, Wis.--Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Jess White, 58, who died at her home in Millville, Wis., early Saturday morning, were held here Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church. Burial was made at Brodtville, Wis. The Rev. A.M. Ivey officiated.
Mrs. White was born on June 1, 1885, at Brodtville, Wis., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ariss. She was married to Jess White and the couple made their home in Millville.
She is survived by her husband of Millville; five sons, Albert, serving with the armed forces, Elmer and Donald, both of Prairie du Chien, Virgil, of Eastman, Wis., and Irvin, of Millville; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Neises, of Prairie du Chien; three sisters, Mrs. Charles McKinnel, of Wyalusing, Wis., Mrs. Melvin Champion, of Bagley, Wis., and Mrs. H.V. Day, of Prairie du Chien, whose husband also died Saturday, and three brothers, Arthur Ariss, and Ben Ariss, both of north of Bagley, Wis., and John Ariss, of Millville.
