Arthur L Benson, 85, a retired farmer, died Sunday at the Clearwater Valley Hospital of infirmities old age. Benson , 65, had been in failing health for the past year.
He was born 27 Sept 1890, at Weippe, Id., to M L and Harriet Benson. He lived as a young child at Salem, Ore He attended school at Kamiah and married Louise Agee on 10 Oct 1910 at Asotin. She died 25 Nov 1971.
Survivors include a daughter, Rae (Benson) Fleisher, Kamiah, a sister Marie Craig, Vancouver, Washington.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Kamiah Cemetery, Trenary;s Funeral Home Kooskia, was in charge of arrangements. The Rev David Solevad of the Nezperce Lutheran Church officated.
