Celia White was the seventh of eleven children of Jesse white, and his wife, Elizabeth Brown. Celia and her husand, Elijah Anderson, were married on May 17, 1810, recorded in Putnam County, Georgia. There were no known children of this marriage, but when Elijah's brother David died, he and his wife, Celia, took at least two of the children and raised them as their Children. A statement by a grand-daughter, said that Celia had been buried near a bend in the road, near the DeKalb County line, which place her burial at or near the Anderson Cemetery. There was no permanent marker.
