George J. Rensch, 93, Ottawa, died Friday at LaSalle County Home. The funeral was held today at 10 a.m. at Gladfelter Chapel. The Rev. E.J. Larson officiated and burial was Oakwood Memorial Park. He was born Nov. 9, 1886, in Ottawa to John and Marguerita Zimmerman Rensch.
He married Ida Rinker.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Dale (Betty) McAboy, Ottawa, Mrs. Edna Zitf, Freeport, Ill., and Mrs. Leona Smith of Wisconsin and a sister, Mrs. Mary Wells of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Memorials may be made to the Easter Seal Center.
