Sarah Addeline "Addie" Howell married George Lee Lewis on January 1, 1909 in Miller Co., Arkansas. They had several children together. After his death she married Charles B. "Carl" Hallum. She later married Mr. Willis. At the time of her death, Addie was shown as "Addie Willis" in her obituary & death certificate.

Addie died in Broken Bow, McCurtain Co., Oklahoma on October 10, 1980. The Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home Record & McCurtain Gazette obituary show -- Born at Delight, Ark. / Died in the Broken Bow Nursing Home (Broken Bow, McCurtain Co., Oklahoma). Addie was actually born in Alpine, Clark Co., Arkansas per the birth records for her children.

Mrs. Addie Willis, 91, Broken Bow, passed away October 10 in the Broken Bow Nursing Home.

Born September 18, 1889 at Delight, Arkansas, she was a member of the Baptist Church, and had lived in Broken Bow nine years, having moved from Fort Towson.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. October 13 at the Fort Towson Baptist Church, with Reverend Tommy McCaig conducting. Burial was in the Fort Towson Cemetery.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cordie Reed of Shreveport, Louisiana, Mrs. Mary Ellen Hogya of Petaluma, California, Mrs. Ruth Ferguson of Haworth; a brother, Wallis Howell of Orlando, Florida; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Becker of Tyler, Texas, and Mrs. Edna Huggs of Crossett, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren, including Jerry McCombs of Idabel, and Mrs. Kathy Ray of Broken Bow; 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
