CHESTER - Alan B. Tash, 50, husband of Pamela (Doane) Tash, died unexpectedly Feb. 2, 2014, at his home. He was born March 11, 1963, in Lincoln, the son of Arnold "Sonny" and Joan (Audibert) Tash.

Alan graduated from Mattanawcook Academy, class of 1981. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved being the coach of the Blue Jays Little League team for many years. He was especially proud of his kids and loved his grandchildren very much. He will be greatly missed by many friends and co-workers.

In addition to his parents, and his wife, Pam, he is survived by three sons, Christopher, Trevor, and Wyatt Tash; a sister, Lisa Bayler and John; two grandchildren, Maddox and Carson Tash; a brother-in-law, Butch Knights; and nieces and nephews, Arikka Knights, Shawn, Seth, Lacey and Quade Lehman and Reese Bayler. He will also be remembered dearly by Cindy Schultz and Emily Gray.

Alan was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Knights.
