ANTHONY, JOHN EDWARD
Died 1:55 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 1990, at the residence of his granddaughter in Denham Springs. He was 90, a native of Bloomburg, Texas, and a resident of Denham Springs. He was a retired bookkeeper for United Gas Line, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War I and World War II. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. Graveside services at St. Joseph Cemetery, Shreveport, 1 p.m. Tuesday. Survived by a granddaughter, Ann Strickland, Denham Springs; and three great-grandchildren, Johnette and Jennifer Strickland, Denham Springs, and Christina Burton, Baker. He was a member of Ellis-Facundus American Legion Post No. 178 Denham Springs, and Forty Over Eight, Shreveport.
