Ret. Civil Service ATHENS, Ga. - Mrs. Edna B. Kilgo, 88 wife of the late Mr. Donald W. Kilgo entered into rest Sunday, April 29, 2007. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Bill Burch officiating. Mrs. Kilgo was a native of Eastman, Georgia and the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Fordham Burgess. She was retired from Civil Service and a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Fellowship Sunday school class. Survivors include; her son and daughter-in-law, Donald W. and Sandi J. Kilgo of Athens, Georgia, three grandchildren, Cary Christopher, Patrick Kilgo and Kelly Kilgo, five great-grandchildren, Robert Kilgo, Elisabeth Kilgo, David Kilgo, Anna Claire Kilgo and Lily Christopher. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 2623 Washington Road, F-104, and Augusta, Georgia 30904. The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service.
