Maisy Ethel McGovern, 78, Idabel, died Tuesday in St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, Ark. Born Feb. 15, 1903 in Arkansas, she had been a resident of McCurtain County 65 years, moving from Arkansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Troyce of Durant, James B. of Las Vegas, Nev. and Bill H. of Olympia, Wash.; four daughters, Wren Davis of Broken Bow, Zeda Click of Paris, Texas, Priscilla Smith of McKinleyville, Cal. and Carol Lute of Brookings, Ore.; four sisters, Flora Barnes of Idabel, Ruby Harris of Haworth, Mattie King of Ardmore and Dorothy Britt of Longview, Texas; 31 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Idabel Norwood Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements and burial in the Forest Hill Cemetery are under ythe direction of Norwood Funeral Home.
