The funeral for Richard Aanderud, 89, of Everett, Wash. was held March 12 at the Solie Funeral Home Chapel in Everett. Interment was in Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett. He died March 9, 1994.
Richard Aanderud was born Aug. 7, 1904 at Maddock, ND to August & Barbara Gutormson Aanderud. He married Myrtle Ambers Nov. 17, 1926 at Fessenden, ND. They moved to Everett, Wash. in 1942. He worked at Atwell Door Manufactuing for many years.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Everett.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Myrtle; a son, Mayo; 4 daughters, Darlene Aanderud, Deloise Shutes, Mrs. Bill (Lois) White & Mrs. Jim (Mary) Kinder; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; & a sister-in-law, Agnes Aanderud.
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters & 5 brothers.
