His mother was Elizabeth McClintock Kerr. She died in 1840 in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, but her burial place is unknown. Her name is found on the Kerr marker in Greendale Cemetery.

Checked 1900 for Thomas, Hannah & sons. Did not find them; they did not seem to be in the marriage records of Rock Island Cnty IL which is the last place the family was found (1880)
