Virgil Andrew "Andy" Eursery, age 73, passed away Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at his home in Broken Arrow,Oklahoma

The son of Virgil and Bertha Lovella (Smith) Eursery.

Andy was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, he received numerous awards. In the Navy, Andy worked as an Aviation Machinist and Flight Engineer. He retired from the Navy in 1985 as Senior Chief after 23 years of service.
He was an instructor at T.T.C. in Tulsa retiring after 15 years of teaching. Andy was member of the American Legion post # 226, Coweta,Oklahoma, Post Adjudication Board (P.A.R.B) And a C.A.S.A. Volunteer for Wagoner County.

Andy was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Earl Lyle Eursery, Sr. and Paul M. Bradford, 2 sisters, Louise Y. Powell and Dorothy "Dotty" Cotten, 1 granddaughter, Tara Channell, 1 great grandson, Logan Channell and 2 nephews, Earl Lyle Eursery, Jr. and Larry Lillibridge.

Funeral services for Andy at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. Sara Pugh officiating. Committal prayers and interment with full military honors will follow at 2:00 pm at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK. (Wright Brown Funeral Home, Coweta, OK)
