Mollie Pikel, daughter of Rosie and Joseph Pikel, was born in the town Marion, February 9, 1872. She grew to womanhood there and in the year 1897 was united in marriage to Frank Fiske. They made their home in Marion until 1911, then moving to Lindina where they lived until 1926 when they moved to Mauston where they have since resided.
The marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Fiske was blessed with eight children Of these, Joseph died in infancy and Louie died in 1933. So to her husband and children she devoter her entire life.
She leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife and mother, her husband, one son Frank of Denver, Colorado, and five daughters, Josephine (Mrs. Frank Karius), Marie (Mrs Val Bushek), and Mayme (Mrs. Harold Kingsley) all of Milwaukee, Stella (Mrs George R Clark) of Winchester, Tenn, and Eleanor at home. Also one granddaughter Janet Lee Kingsley and one grandson, Tommy Clark.
Funeral services were held here Monday morning, May 17, at 9:00, at St. Patrick's church Rev. Fr. George Schleicher officiating. Burial was in the Mauston cemetery.
