Pearl May Roach was born 10 March, 1907 in Arkansas to James Marcus Roach and Mary Elizabeth Thompson. In the 1910 census, three-year-old Pearl is listed as living in Spiro, Oklahoma. At the age of 13, Pearl moved back to Arkansas and met William Enoch Boyd, her first husband. The two were married October 28, 1924 when Pearl was 17 and William was 19.

Pearl and William had two children, Cona Gean Boyd and ET Boyd, my grandfather.

William died on February 28, 1933 at the age of 28 after a catching pneumonia. People thought that William had TB and the house and most of the belongings were burned.

Pearl married Lee Harold Terry after moving back to Spiro, and they had two more children: Wyvonee Patricia and James Harold. Lee died on April 1, 1975.

Pearl died November 11, 1983 in Van Buren, Arkansas.
