He was survived by his wife, Cora Jones; one son, Reuben N. Jones, Jr.; two daughters, Erma Jeanne Jones and Lessie Jones, all of Fort Necessity; three brothers, Thomas Bowden Jones and Lemuel H. "Lem" Jones, both of Winnsboro, and Talmage A. Jones of Monroe; and two sisters, Betty Jones and Fannie Austin, both of Winnsboro.
